With Friends Like These, Who Needs Enemas?

      Vinay Manon has a peculiar piece today in The Star that has a few chuckles in it, but he very oddly can't tell the difference between a sit-com and any other form of television programming. BTW, the Newhart finale was a brilliant move. Seinfeld's finale: one of the most horrifying hours of television in memory. Manon, however, forgets Night Court, which would have Pheobe picked up and taken to an alien planet where, no doubt, her songs might somehow make a vague kind of autistic sense.
