From Someone Who Has Done Plenty On The Backs Of Adolescents
It's been a bit since I checked in on the columns of Imre Salusinszky, and it seems he's had some doozies. This piece is about an Australian budget measure, but shrink not, dear friends: it's told from the perspecta of, among others, Paris Hilton and Dr. Seuss. Then there's this piece, less funny but certainly worthwhile, on the commercialization of holidays. And then (and then and then and then) there's this piece on the intractable subject of comedy that should delight those of you with a taste, closeted or out, for so-called low-brow humour. Imre's always a good read, and there's something wonderfully refreshing in getting an Aussie perspective on things.
