Swingin' Springfield

      It's appropriate timing, with the show returning tonight for its umpteenth season: people with evidently way too much time on their hands have been speculating about the political leanings of the citizens of, you guessed it, Springfield.   The article concludes the city's a swing-city, but we should all know better: with the way show constantly typifies the townfolk as a raging, mindless mob waiting to happen, there should be no doubt: Springfield is Republican through-and-through. Right, Jeebus?

      BTW, sorry for the lack of blogging lately. Frankly, I just haven't been able to be bothered....
