The Wall-'Flower'

Sometimes, it's just not worth the hassle and the expense, right guys?

Apparently, a community organization in New Zealand refused to buy the winning artwork in a local competition, that of "a large, bright yellow vagina" (pictured at right). The piece was assessed at $8500. See here for details.

I particularly like the remark that the trust has to be "selective and sensitive." How i(r)onic.

I'm remembering all too well the words of Colin Mochrie: "That's the flimsiest vagina I've ever seen." Oh, lord, there are so many things I could say... Where is Gully Jimson when you need him?
