Only In California

The political situation in the land of botoxed is going from the sublime to the ridiculous, as this article from the Financial Times explains, following the entries of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gary Coleman, Angelyne, and Larry Flynt in the gubernatorial race. Oy vey.

It occurred to me another way this election could be very different than any other in North American history: Awh-nold could be the first gubernatorial candidate to have full-frontal nude images of himself published by an opposing candidate, Mr. Flynt. (Remember the fiasco about those pics years ago?) I do kinda like the idea of Larry Flynt being a candidate, though-- just because if there's *any* dirt out there on a candidate, you can bet safe money he'll find it, and publish it. Hee hee hee.

I can just imagine the jokes: An Aryan, a black midget, and a parapalegic are running for governor....
