Casting The First Stone

      It never ceases to amaze this blog how gallingly offensive The Religious Right can be.   Case in point, this article, which takes platitudinous condescension to a new level. The last paragraph is a doozy:

Let us all pray for Kerry. He needs our loving accusations and our kind warnings and our insightful lecturing him about his blaspheming — just as apostle Paul saw through in his writings and preaching. But in addition to cautioning his wayward soul, we need to pray for Senator John Kerry.

Oh, yes, I'm sure Christ would have been very proud of people issuing their "loving accusations."   This sort of thing is sickening beyond statement.
