Mr. Barry's new column takes to heart the serious matter of whether or not we should indeed set our aspirations toward Mars. This blog concurs entirely with Mr. Barry that we have much more pressing matters to which we must attend, including the plight of our inner-city children, none of whom, it seems, can afford pants that fit properly. Let us devote our efforts to making sure that each and every child has a belt or, at the very least, a drawstring. Please, people, think of the children, suffering in the cold, their asses hanging out like flags in the wind. Please, let us remember the children...
