Actually these are Michael Korda's words in describing Graham Greene, from
a reprinted article in The New Yorker. It's a good, interesting read. I suppose that's one of the benefits of the new volume of the Sherry biography: there's Greene material aplenty right now, some of it even worthwhile. Shock!
