Apparently, Alexander, as I predicted some time ago in a comment on Christie's blog, is getting poor advance reviews. Surprise, surprise (although, to be fair, not all of the reviews are so harsh). It seems, though, that Colin's desperately trying to be the next Ewan McGregor, swinging his dangly bits about like a dead cat in a large room.
